Calcasieu Pass Loop & East Fork Dredging
|
The Cameron Loop and East Fork are existing
commercial waterways whose historical utilization has been maritime,
waterfront
related activities in support of fisheries, oil/gas exploration, and the
maritime service industry. As a result
of Hurricane Rita, the area has experienced significant infiltration
that has
resulted in a 10-22 foot depth which has limited the accessibility of
heavy
maritime vessels and other support vehicles utilizing this waterway.
Project is scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2011.
