ATTENTION CONTRACTORS!!
Federal disaster recovery programs for homeowners are in need of qualified contractors to submit bids for eligible home elevation, reconstruction, rehabilitation and individual mitigation measure projects. The projects are part of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recovery programs. These programs are designed to assist homeowners in reoccupying homes in Louisiana. Contractors interested in bidding on recovery projects should fill out a contractor application available from OCD/DRU.
Forms should be completed and returned to the OCD/DRU by mail to the address below or faxed to OCD/DRU at 225-987-3786 by October 31, 2010.
