Just south of Downtown Cameron,
LA lies the Cameron Jetty Pier Facility. This facility is a place to kick back and relax. There is something for everyone in the family at this facility. The Cameron Jetty Pier Facility features a number of amenities including a Fishing Pier, Pavilion, R/V Park, Public Restrooms and Rinse Stations, Walk Way to the Beach, Bird Observation Tower and Playground.

Jetty Pier Facility is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.

A barge fails to negotiate a turn in the Calcasieu Pass and hit the Cameron Jetty Pier. Several people were fishing on the pier at the time, but no one was injured.
The Cameron Jetty Pier Facility is open; however, the pier will remain closed until repairs are made. |
