A barge fails to negotiate a turn in the Calcasieu Pass and hit the Cameron Jetty Pier.  Several people were fishing on the pier at the time, but no one was injured.

The Cameron Jetty Pier Facility is open; however, the pier will remain closed until repairs are made.
